FREERIDE ACTION IN SAALBACH-HINTERGLEMM

FREERIDE-MECCA IN THE SALZBURG REGION

Variety is the essence at the Bike Circus. Man-made routes attract bikers with steep curves and daredevil jumps. Root-ridden single trails also require full concentration with their rocky sections and water crossings. All of this with an epic view of the Kitzbühel alps and the Hohe Tauern mountain. Ascents of up to 1,000 metres? No problem at the Bike Circus with cable cars which easily bring you to the top.

Z-LINE AT ZWÖLFERKOGEL

  • Length: 4.5 kilometres
  • Altitude difference: 450 metres

This almost four-and-a-half kilometre-long trail at Zwölferkogel is pretty much designed for ambitious freeriders. You can really let rip on this freeride trail. It is also popular for tour bikers who have defeated the mountain by themselves. Equipped with suitable protective clothing, you can look forward to a somewhat different kind of descent. The bends, wallrides and drops always offer detour possibilities. Tables, waves and Northshore elements are designed in such a way that they can be ridden easily at low speeds.

X-LINE AT SCHATTBERG

  • Length: 6.3 kilometres
  • Altitude difference: 1,015 metres

A flowing single trail awaits bikers at the top section with an amazing panoramic view into the valley. The section from the Schattberg middle station down towards the valley is a little more demanding. It contains many Northshore elements and tricky trails. Once almost at the bottom you can decide. Between a gentle descent to the valley station or an adapted Adidas slope-style run.

PRO LINE AT REITERKOGEL

  • Length: 1.9 kilometres
  • Altitude difference: 498 metres

The Pro Line features forest trails, followed by rocky sections and many types of Northshore elements. The fantastic root passages, great drops and loads of jumps make the Pro Line very action-packed and tricky.

BLUE LINE AT REITERKOGEL

  • Length: 3.5 kilometres
  • Altitude difference: 498 metres

The Blue Line has been devised more for beginners but will also give speed junkies a run for their money. It offers steep turns, small jumps and flat Northshore elements to let each rider take it at their own pace. The Blue Line is much easier to traverse than the Pro Line.

MONTI TRAIL AT THE KOHLMAIS

  • Length: 3.2 kilometres
  • Altitude difference: 380 metres

This three kilometre-long trail passes through spacious descents and wooden elements from the Kohlmais middle station down to the valley. The Monti Trail is designed for families and beginners. It provides everyone with an easy and fun introduction to freeriding.
